Monday Mix: The NHL Is Back!

The last few weeks haven’t been much fun. I missed out on FINCON11 because I was stuck working. In fact, it seems like I’ve been living in the office due to the long hours and weekends filing tax returns for businesses and individuals who are too disorganized or lazy to get their taxes done on time. But, that pain was alleviated on Thursday night when the first game of the new NHL season took place. Of course, I still have quite a bit of work left to do this week, but at least I know I have something to relax with when I get home each night!

    Hey Eric!

I look forward to Monday Night Football games myself.  I used to be a hockey fan growing up in Pittsburgh as a kid but kind of lost interest over the years.  You are doing a great job with your blog and you are going to bust through 100K any day now!

Thanks Paul! I can’t watch the games because I got rid of my cable, but every now and again I make it out to have a few drinks and watch on the super-big screens. I couldn’t imagine what would happen if I didn’t have hockey; it’s the one sport I can actually watch from beginning to end on tv.

You can never complain about a boost in traffic from such a widely visited site. Unless of course, the traffic kills your server ;-)
